i didnt see anyone from the boards there but it was a really fucking kick ass performance!

I had to leave before they ended their set, though. I was sick last weekend, and standing that long just wore me out. But I saw most of it, and it did kick major ass!

I just about had a heart attack last night at Circuit City - they had Pelican's new CD there! Circuit City really ain't all that bad, I'm thinking... they also had a Pig Destroyer CD in amongst all the Pink Floyd and Pink. WTF... is metal really becoming THAT commercial? I mean, I can see stuff like Nile and Behemoth because they're on Ozzfest and the record label is using that cachet to sell records, but Pig Destroyer is hardly what I'd ever call commercial music, nor is Pelican.
And I'm not complaining about this in the least, just for the record. Just sayin...
Felt like I was in the Twilight Zone.

i dont know about circuit city selection, but ive never had a problem finding pig destroyer at places like media play and best buy, as for pelican, i dont own city of echoes yet but i got fire in our throats at best buy 2 years ago

save your money. fire in our throats is much better in my opinion. the new one is just kinda plain and not as metal.

i agree fire in our throats is better, i finally heard city of echoes all the way through last night, i dig it , but last cd was better
