Gorgoroth>Slayer

Besides Gaahl being a complete faggot I like Gorgoroth

The Pentagram and Antichrist album are great

The two important guys from the band (aka Gaahl and King) are going to start a new band, they just can't use the Gorgoroth name. It sucks, but it's not like they won't be making more music.

I vaguely recall reading an article which stated that they planned on splitting after their last South American tour ended.

I am on the side of Infernus,He is the only original member of the band, and the most important. Gaahl is just an attention whore.

If Gaahl and King played shwos with NO original members that would be extremely stupid

Hmm not sure why I thought this, but for some reason I thought that Gaahl was the main songwriter for the band...turns out it's Infernus. I can see why Infernus would be willing to fight them over the use of the name Gorgoroth though.

I'm not even going to pretend to know the whole situation, but I'm sure that Gaahl and King had a (somewhat) legit reason to kick Infernus out. If he isn't holding his weight in the band, there should be no hesitation for his dismissal, original band member or not. BUT, since it's Gorgoroth and Gaahl is a prick, I'm going to give Infernus the benefit of the doubt.

I think King wrote most of the songs on the last two albums. As least, that's what he was claiming when he was kicked out last year and everyone else was ... otherwise occupied.

Just wait about 4 or 5 years from now, they'll have a reunion tour that only stops at 3 cities worldwide.
