MetalFreak: That is a good addition to this, what's everyone's major?

Will: That's pretty zany. You may have the most unique job I've heard of in a while. My buddy John's had kidney stones twice since he was 18...
you give grocery baggers tips? I have nothing against them but it's just I've never heard of that! hehe

my major is geography btw

@erock - is remembering all the different drinks and mixes for bartending hard? I imagine with time it becomes easy but there are so many wierd drinks out there!
Geography!? Fuck yeah! I'm a Land Surveyor! Geography rocks my world!
does your company have internships or anything? I have no practical experience and I would like some! 8)
Unfortunately, probably not. Unless you want to join me in the woods doing topographic Surveys. I just checked our website, and they're only hiring Structural Engineers and CAD Technicians at the moment. I'm down on work right now, since I fell 6 feet into a storm-drain today, and probably broke my tailbone. Everytime I sit on my fat ass I get teary-eyed. 2008 is definitely off to a bad start for me.

I know we do Geotechnical stuff, which may be in-line with Geography, but I'm not sure how much we're doing out of our Georgia office.

It is interesting, as my old Supervisor at my last company had a degree in Geography. Geography is fun times.
holy crap I hope it gets better!

When you get better, let me know if you want some help! I just want to learn, you don't have to pay me for teaching me 8)

and someone finally contacted me back, I start a janitor position tomorrow morning haha
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

I hope so too. Today wasn't as bad. We're working out of town in some po-dunk shit hole called Perry, GA. Nothing to do here but rot on my ass at night and get drunk.

I am always up to help people learn some Surveying. I've worked for two different Surveying companies, one dealing in Construction Surveys (which totally blows. It's essentially overblown construction work), and Topographic Surveys(currently, which I refer to as "real surveying").

I would argue that Janitoring is the only profession that has Surveying beat for "Least Stressful Job". Aside from the time my buddy and I hit an alligator with a socket wrench in Valdosta...

Hahaha.
Perry is right off of 75 south past Macon, just as 475 ends. There's not a lot in Perry just a bunch of peaches and pecans. Oh and the little league baseball team that won the LL world series last year.

Oh and cafe erotica is literally right off the hwy and they bare all.
Also if you like hotdogs they have a place called Nu way wieners. Nu way was featured on the travel channel and when Harpo was doing her favorite things show I believe she ate at the Nu way in Macon. I have to admit they are prettying fucking good.

yeah the janitor job isn't that bad...only thing that sucks is that I have to get up at the crack ass of dawn! When I met the store manager for the first time, he looked at me like I was crazy (probably cause I speak English and cause he was expecting a Mexican or something) lol and I know how to use one of those huge floor buffers now
