All the bands I saw (skipped BDM) were great. 3 Inches of Blood was fun as always and Decrepit Birth had some of the best sound I've ever heard at the Masquerade.

yeah decrepit birth sounded fucking awesome, 3 inches of blood was the 2nd best band of the night i think then hate eternal and black dahlia.

Hate Eternal was fucking amazing. Only heard 3 of Decrepit's songs, but sounded good. 3IOB was good too, although not really my cup o' tea, but they do put a lot of energy into their performance and they're great at what they do. Didn't stay for BDM, can't really stand them and I was really tired. I had fun watching this guy Mike swinging his hair around hehe. It's also fun seeing those girly-haird emo boys trying to "mosh" - I walked right through their pit, just swinging my arms as I went, and swept 'em all aside to clear my path!

Pretty good first half of the show. I only wish Hate Eternal's sound had been a little bit clearer. Decrepit Birth got my pick for the evening, though. Not bad for a Monday night.
