Pesronally I thought this show blew, Hate Eternal's mix was terrible, Decrepit Birth is better on cd, and the crowd fucking pissed me off, split after Hate Eternal.

i've given up on seeing Hate Eternal. i've seen them at least 4 times and either they or the sound always sucks. i like their cd's fine but they've always let me down live for one reason or another.

Hate Eternal was good IMO, though it's true their mix was awful (I've come to expect that at the Masquerade). That's why Decrepit Birth surprised me with their relatively clear sound: I thought they ripped.

Of course 3iob was killer, but their occasional sound problems were a bit of a letdown (those siren calls at the beginning of Night marauders are key).

Man, the few times I could hear a guitar part of Hate Eternal it was fucking awesome, like that King of all Kings album, if it was produced better, it would be fucking amazing. The dipshit crowd was annoying too.

Well keep in mind I have never seen them before, only had a few old mp3s not even a whole album so I'm just kind of getting to know their music. I have no basis for comparison otherwise. I guess I'm just saying I like 'em, whether or not this particular performance sucked.

Yeah the crowd was stupid, but I found them somewhat entertaining if I stood far off enough.

yeah I hate all these dudes who look like chicks. Dudes are NOT supposed to wear eyeliner! Even some gay dudes I know don't wear that!

yeah I feel the same way at alot of shows too...in the past year or so, the crowd has definitely taken a shift for the worse. It wasn't like this 3 years ago!
