Kind of a strange show -- lots of hardcore kids there. The highlight for me, though, was when the disco ball in Purgatory got into the hands of the crowd. Someone kicked it, another kid picked it up and smashed, and the Masquerade staff freaked. out. They ended up calling APD and I think a guy got arrested.

I was really looking forward to Warbringer, as I am old and they are oldschool. Unfortunately, there sounds was utter crap.

Totally the wrong crowd for UnExpect, I think. Don't know much about Faceless or Suicide Silence, though I rather enjoyed Faceless. We were utterly pounded into submission, though, by the time Nile took the stage. There was a really long wait for there show to start and it was all just too much. Unfortunately, we left about halfway through their set.

I left after uneXpect to go to the Drunken Unicorn for the Pelican/Black Cobra/Unearthly Trance show. I'd seen Warbringer before and they were better the first time, but that has a lot to do with their sound. It's out of their control, and they still put on a hell of a show last night.

uneXpect was incredible. I've been wanting to see them for a while so it was nice. It seemed like only myself, Katie (girl who has hosted WREKage about 10 times), this kid we meet there, and the guy standing behind me knew who they were when they started their show. By the end of their set, a good portion of the crowd was cheering and throwing the horns. Honestly, I didn't even expect them to get a reaction that good.

I didn't get to see any of the other bands, but The Faceless is always fun live. I'm not a fan of Suicide Silence. Sucks I couldn't see Nile but they'll be back.

Pretty good show. I would've liked to have seen the disco ball incident.

I enjoyed seeing Warbringer again, bad sound, sick bassist and all. I remembered not being too fond of The Faceless at Summer Slaughter, but I thought they weren't half bad this time. I don't have much to say about the other two. Nile of course totally killed as usual. I've got the purple boot prints on my shins to prove it.

I got slammed a little harder than usual last night (once into the wall). I got the wind knocked out of me on the floor one time and lost my truck keys. I realized halfway through Eat of the Dead that my pocket was empty. Someone was cool enough to find them and leave them with some of the Masquerade guys after the show. Fun evening.
