KoK was fucking awesome! I wanted to buy a CD but they didn't have any back there. :( Behemoth was killer...as usual. During Chant for Eskaton 2000 my sandal broke so I just walked around with one flip flop for the rest of the night! (And no my feet didn't get stepped on at all)

I think Dimmu could have picked some better songs to play like instead the Maelstrom Mephisto they shoulda played Blessings Upon the Throne of Tyranny or something. Some of the songs they played were awesome and others were pretty weak.

During Behemoth, some older dude (I'm talking late 40s maybe) asked me which Behemoth member was my favorite. I said Nergel. He said, "They wouldn't have any trouble finding female friends" so I said "No thanks, I'm not into all that." And later, the same guy asked my friend Linda if she thought Nergel was hot and she said "no." I think Behemoth must have recruited this guy to pick up females for them or something. When my boyfriend came out of the moshpit, the guy didn't even talk to my bf or anything. His interests definitely involved someone's pants down their ankles.
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

I hate that.

And whenever I do chill with the bands, I make it very clear to them from the beginning. I just wanna hang out, and party. Think of me as one of the guys.

In fact some guy from Bulgaria or something came into the ladies room to wash his hands when I was in there, and he was all cool with it. "we are all the same, flesh and blood! and besides, this bathrooms smells better than the other one."

But yeah, Keep of Kalessin was absolutely amazing, the first time I've seen them. Behemoth was a first for me and that was incredible as well. I just went outside right after Behemoth and did not stay in there for Dimmu.

Like I said before, fuck Dimmu.

KoK was incredible. No better way to begin a set than playing The Wealth of Darkness. Behemoth and all of their redundancy was still enjoyable, and aside from their last two songs, all of Dimmu's set sounded the same.

Also, did anyone happen to see the older rotund gentleman carrying the powderhorn?

sucks I missed that song, we got in there right at the beginning of the 2nd (Armada if I remember correctly). At least it wasn't Vengeance Rising or Many Are We.

KoK fucking ruled like I expected, the chorus of The Wealth of Darkness may have been one of the most epic concert moments in my life. I just wish they would've played more than FIVE FUCKING SONGS.

Behemoth was great, but I wish they would've played more Satanica and ZKC stuff instead of a mostly Demigod/Apostasy set.

What I saw of Dimmu was alright but nothing special. We walked out to rest a bit after whatever song came after The Serpentine Offering.

Big thanks to Rachyl for giving me and Blarg a ride to the show, btw. :)

I fucking missed Keep. Traffic accident BULLSHIT.

Behemoth was good, there was some band that was pretty decent downstairs, saw about six Dimmu songs and split.

*FOUR FUCKING SONGS

I'm waiting for when KoK headlines their own U.S. tour. They deserve it for being so incredible.

That's all they played? I got there after they already started but that means I missed like one song. Yeah, they need their own tour!

I'm late posting as usual and I realize that I'm just echoing what's already been said about Keep of Kalessin, but just their set alone put this high on my "best show of the year so far" list. Behemoth was cool for the fifth or sixth time and Dimmu Borgir was alright (although I don't remember much of anything after they played Puritania). Dimmu's easy to rip on, but they haven't really put anything out that I won't listen to.

ScreamBloodyGore, I spotted the guy with the horn, too. I think he might've been the dude with the plastic battle axe and helmet at the last Amon Amarth show.

I like Dimmu, which is why I said I was very disappointed with their show. Not a very good set IMO and they were much better performers last time they were here.

I thought they played the new material tighter than they did the last time I saw them at the Tabernacle, but over all there was just a general lack of energy.

the show at the Tabernacle was awesome! They played all kinds of good songs there imo!

I thought there was more of a lack of energy at the show they just played. :?
