I'm not going to lie. This show takes my number 1 spot for all-time greatest shows. SO MUCH AWESOME.
Ensiferum was the best band of the night, followed by Turisas, then Tyr and then Eluveitie. All totally awesome performances.
If anyone wants to hook me up with the accordian player from Turisas or Ensiferum's keyboardist I'll give you a cookie.

I get the grinder girl from Eluveitie.necroodin wrote:I claimed her first! Fuck. Yes, her happy demeanor did not assist in my mind staying the clean side of the gutter. it was like a neon sign that flashed VIOLATE! VIOLATE!
Great show.
Eluveitie and Turisas were great, the other bands were pretty good too.
Turisas stole the show. I don't know that I've had so much fun at a metal show, or any other show for that matter. Their front man was hilarious, witty, and entertaining. I think we won the singing contest, just so you know. It was like being in a pub full of smelly barbarians.
Btw, I was the one who yelled "We like our piss beer!" just for the record. It's not exactly true but was kind of funny in the moment.
Tyr was really good and so was Ensiferum, I think Turisas stole it just because I'm much more familiar with their stuff. Plus it's a lot more sing-songy so it's easier to get into. Not to mention Ensiferum's rhythm guitarist needs to work on his windmill.
I'm so pumped! Who wants to start a folk metal band now?

Team Bravo was somewhat lacking I admit. We didn't have a accordian-goddess leading us to a frenzy. Would love to see more folk metal shows here in Atlanta, really enjoyed the atmosphere of the gig. Everyone wasn't just grimming about, everyone just chilling, in a good mood. Eluveitie definately was the tops for me, damn good vibe, was clear they all enjoyed the fuck out of it, and the response, and you could feel that.
