it's not becoming one with my cd player cuz i have to give it back, but i've been rockin a new cd that came in from the melvins and jello biafra. its pretty much 8 tracks of exactly what you'd expect if jello biafra decided to front the melvins. i also heard new demos from daath a few nights back and that was awesome as well. I'm rocking out to: Crotchduster - Mammal Sauce :m0nk3yp33:
Fuck it, Dude, let's go bowling.

I thought I'd post some of the stuff I've been listening to, because it's a bit different for me:

Green Carnation - Light of Day, Day of Darkness
Into Eternity - Buried In Oblivion
Dark Tranquillity - The Gallery
Soilwork - A Predator's Portrait
Cipher System - Central Tunnel Eight
Kalmah - Swampsong
and most of all....
Hallows Eve - Live at WREK

Speaking of Hallows Eve...I have a cd of the sound board recordings, that I've "mastered." I'm using that word very loosely. I essentially took the entire performance, busted it up into tracks, and did a couple of EQ things. If anyone is interested in a copy...I could talk to Chris on how the band feels about spreading them around. I know they mentioned something about the performance becomine a bootleg, but I think they also wanted to work on the recording themselves. Anyway, let me know if anyone is interested. :m3t4l:

I've been listening to a shitload of Napalm Death lately, everything but Inside The Torn Apart (which I thought I had but turned out I didn't). They kicked so much ass at the show last week, I had to go back and familiarize myself with the stuff I haven't listened to much.

Platters of Splatter fucking rocks, look for us to play their "No Presents For Christmas" cover on that cd soon...

Here's my recent playlist:

Cryptopsy - And Then You'll Beg
Behemoth - Zos Kia Cultus
Golem - Dreamweaver
Corporation 187 - Perfection In Pain
Cadaver - Necrosis
Hatesphere - Ballet Of The Brute

I got an early xmas present for myself in the form of Les Claypool's Frog Brigade performing all of Pink Floyd's Animals live. It has to be one of the best live shows put to tape. The music is spot on and full of energy. Claypool's vocals are off occasionally but overall he fits well. If anyone likes either artists involved I highly recommed "Live Frogs Set 2" :b0unc3y:

I treated myself to a few christmas presents over the break - re-releases of stuff I missed the boat on the first time around. I bought re-releases of:

the last 3 Carcass albums
Dissection - Storm Of The Light's Bane
Disincarnate - Dreams Of The Carrion Kind
Cynic - Focus

So it's been a mid-90's revival in my ears the past few weeks.
