the friggin masquerade can suck a cock! 10:30 curfew?????

man i hate that place. i've been wanting to see lair of the minotaur for a longass time and they have to come to the friggin masquerade of all places. b/w work and family i can't make it out to a damn show by 10 much less 7:30. not to mention you have to have a second fuckin job just to pay for a show at the masquerade b/w the over inflated door price and the $3.50 pbr.

if this show would've happend anywhere else i could've gone b/c the show wouldn't have even started until 10......

anyway, enough of my bitchin, i hope the show kicked ass

Withered fuckin ruled as always. Great shit. I wish they could have played longer.

Lair of the Minotaur sucked. Sounded completely generic and uninspired. Bad vocals too.

Kylesa fuckin owned. The drums were so damn power. Some great catchy riffs. Hot chick playing a sweet gold les paul is always a good thing.

As far as The Ocean, good lights can only take you so far. Their light set up fucking ruled and was synched perfectly which was cool. Unfortunatly they were really boring and had gay vocals. Though I'll say they had some whoop ass gear.

missed withered and lair, got off work at 8pm, drove like a maniac to catch kylesa, they slayed, the ocean was GAY GAY GAY GAY

Hahaha. I was totally disappointed by The Ocean...I had only heard good things about them and ended up leaving halfway through their second song. Anyways, Kylesa and Withered slayed.

Withered did own the evening. They were definitely operating "on all cylinders."

Lair of the Minotaur was cool. I'm not sure what everyone was expecting. Maybe they should have worn armor or covered themselves in blood. "Carnage Fucking Carnage" ripped.

Kylesa was indeed powerful. The psychedelic aspects of their sound are become greater and their sound is becoming more expansive.

The Ocean...boring and tedious. Yes, they did have nice gear.
