Wrath and Sanguine

Post by Knucklehead » Thu August 28th, 2008, 7:50 pm

I'm not all that familiar with Averse Sefira, or much USBM. But I've been checking out their blog for awhile, and I thought that this post was pretty interesting. A lot of what they say is pretty stock, but nonetheless, there are some interesting points.

Especially what Sanguine says at the end about metal. I strayed from metal for about a decade and returned about a five years ago. It is something that gets in the blood, I think. I often wonder what the hell it is that I'm doing with all the kids at these shows. But then I'll hear a song or a passage that speaks to me and I'll want to go burn cars.

Horns up, my friends.

I ran into the singer coming out of the bathroom in Tennessee

I opened the door and was greeted with corpse paint and all and I'm like "sorry"

He just looks at me all evil-like and was like "MOVE".....but didn't actually say it haha

The link (farther down the page) to MTV's "Top 10 Most Illegible Metal Logos" is rather amusing. While I agree with the inclusion of a few of them (especially Xasthur, and Naglfar, which looks like an onion), Finntroll, Darkthrone, and Borknagar aren't exactly the best examples of the inscrutable.
