I don't have to be 21 so now I don't have to figure out a way to get into the Earl the following night.

With this show being on a Saturday, and a home game weekend (Tennesse), Athens will be crowded. This show will sell out as the last Mastodon show did at the 40 Watt. I am sure that advance tickets will be sold, probably at Schoolkids Records. For those travelling from out of town, I will check this out and post info here. If needed, I can buy tickets for those coming from Atlanta, but will need numbers, contact information, etc. Or you might be able to call Schoolkids and purchase tickets over the phone...not sure about that one. I will find out.

No tickets at Schoolkids yet, but the 40 Watt website has them listed for $20/$22 day of show.

Schoolkids Records: 706.353.1666
40 Watt: www.40watt.com.

You can call and order tickets from Schoolkids online (credit/debit card) and they will be waiting for you at the 40 Watt will call.

This is a part of Chunklet Magazine's 15th Anniversary celebration. Could also double as a book release party for Mr. Owing's hilarious "Rock Bible."

Weird...I just tried to "Buy A Ticket Now" and the basket said the ticket was $22, not $20. Not sure what's up with that, but the site does state that no hard tickets will be mailed. Your name will be placed on a pre-paid will call list. No refunds!

Wouldn't miss this one.

My UGA friends saw Brian Posehn on campus a few weeks ago and said he was fuckin' hilarious, so this should be a nice bonus.

Lawls. I wasn't referring to that trip though that was a bit crazy. Brian and I recently went to Nashville and it was a tad hellish.

He's a stand-up comedian and doesn't perform with a band.

Yeah don't judge him by that. The 2 songs on his CD are the least funny parts of it, IMO. The standup is good.
