Dude -- that sucks. And I can't imagine that the APD will be much help in finding it.Brian wrote:Oh, I don't have a ride anymore either. My car got stolen today.

Dude that sucks so bad
As for me, I gotta work anyways.
I'm gonna try to switch shifts with someone but I doubt I can.
I'm now selling my ticket for $20 if anyone wants it....price is negociable if anyone thinks that's too high. Keep in mind there's a slight chance that I still might go but I won't know until tomorrow around 4 pm.
If anyone wants to buy my ticket I will meet you as far as around the Kennesaw Mall but I'm in Cartersville. PM me if interested or just say so on here.

Dude, that really sucks. I'm sorry to hear that.Brian wrote:Actually they did find it, in an impound lot in College Park. It's completely fucked -- the bumper is gone, the rear is completely smashed, and the side panels are hanging off. No way it's salvageable.

Well, it's a band (2 actually) that I loved when I was in high school so it's not all that surprising that a lot of us older fucks are excited about the show. Especially considering how good of a band they were/are, and how influential to modern metal.Knucklehead wrote:I think I may have underestimated the draw of this show -- I just talked to a guy in the local coffee shop that came down from freakin' Ashville. I have to give him kudos. He took talking about Carcass and Suffocation, to a middle-aged, balding guy in a tie, completely in stride.
If this show weren't coming to Atlanta, I would most likely be hitting Eyal up for a ride to FL. haha ("Will lug heavy gear for ride") Actually, if I didn't have a gig here on Saturday, I'd probably do that anyway.

For real. All the old timers and guys who never go to shows any more are coming out for Carcass. I think Mike and Matt from Abwhore are even coming out.Knucklehead wrote:I think I may have underestimated the draw of this show -- I just talked to a guy in the local coffee shop that came down from freakin' Ashville. Dude, you're making me feel ancient. Perhaps I wasn't being clear -- I had already wandered away from metal by the time Carcass released their second album and no one in my group of friends knew about their first. As I said, they are in my metal blindspot.Strange wrote:Well, it's a band (2 actually) that I loved when I was in high school so it's not all that surprising that a lot of us older fucks are excited about the show.
I obviously missed out on a lot in the '90's, which is a shame.Strange wrote:Especially considering how good of a band they were/are, and how influential to modern metal.
