Gojira, 12/3/08

Post by Knucklehead » Wed October 1st, 2008, 7:23 am

According to their MySpace, they'll be at the Tabernacle. I assume that you all read Blabbermouth, but, for those that don't, they are streaming their new album on the myspace page.

I missed most of their set the last time they were here, something that I am still disappointed about.

Oh, I'll be there. Can't miss Gojira.

It's too bad they're playing with All That Remains, 36 Crazyfists, and N*Flaymez

I might go to this if I'm not still broke. We could always form a peanut/hecklers gallery and throw banana peelings at the other crappy bands.

I missed 'em last time around as well so I'm definitely hitting this.

In Flames is the only other band on the bill I've ever heard, but I really want to see Gojira live.
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!

This band's emo-enviromentalist bent rubs me the wrong way, but they are good musicians.

hahahaha

But yeah, that is unfortunate for both our ears and our wallets.

They fucking killed last time they were here, but I don't know if I'll actually go yet. Mostly because I've seen all those bands before, aside from 36 Crazyfists.

Nope. In Flames is, and All That Remains is second from the top.

I was gonna go...then I saw the recent setlist

Here it is btw:

The Chosen Pessimist (opener)
Sleepless Again
The Quiet Place
The Mirrors Truth
Disconnected
Alias
Delights and Angers
Move Through Me
System
Cloud Connected
Vanishing Light
Take This Life
Come Clarity
Crawl Through Knives
Insipid 2000
Zombie Inc
Pinball Map
Satellites and Astronauts
Trigger (closer)

and somewhere in between-medley : The Jester Race, Dead God in Me, (behind space, stand ablaze)

How come the medleys are always the best songs?
