Oh indeed, indeed.
I thought they were all right, but not awesome.

Overall the show was a little draggy for me, I was really tired and hurting and i had to sit down near the end. But most of the bands were good. Keep of Kalessin was Ok, not really my cup o tea but I can see what people see in them. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked Eluveite, though. I didn't really think I would. Ratanda and Kelly another friend of mine and I went to talk to them afterwards, we talked mostly with that hurdy gurdy girlie, the cute little doll of a chick. We offered to take them out drinking but she said she was only 19 and couldn't get in the bars. We talked to the singer awhile too, but I just mostly listened as i know fuckall about their style of music.
Nice to see Tommy, Ratanda, Necroodin and the rest of the people I always see but never know your names. We must have an after-show meetup sometime.

It was a great show, I think the best part was hanging out with Thebon and the gang from Keep of Kalessin after the show for like 30 minutes. Great guys, looking forward to seeing them again. They stole the show this time. Dying Fetus was.. well typical, decent live stuff. Kataklysm was good, best I'd seen them of the 3 times.

Eluveitie is one of my favorite bands but their sound wasn't mixed well, the vocals were waaaaaaaaay too low. Good thing I knew all the words already.

Killer show and good times with you crazies again on a Friday night. Keep of Kalessin was great again. Still no luck on hearing a song from the Avantegarde days. I was hoping that they might be too cool for eye shadow this time around. Still sounded great, though.

Decent pit action for Dying Fetus, too. I've haven't spent that much time on the beersoaked Masq floor in a while. No real fighting this time. High quality no frills brutality nonetheless. Cheers to you maniacs.

Keep of Kalessin was fantastic and stole the show. Better setlist this time too, although they still need to play Vengeance Rising dammit!
Eluveitie was fun but not as good as their Paganfest set. I left after them.

The gauntlets he had the other night ranged from about $60-$100. The bigger pieces can be significantly more. He makes a lot of stuff for the Behemoth and Dimmu guys and was telling me about a big piece he's working on for Vortex. He puts a lot of that stuff up on eBay, too. He goes by Gravedigger. Always seems like a pretty cool dude.

Keep of Kalessin was definitely awesome like they were last time. They were really tight and put on a good show. I agree with whoever said some of the parts could have used a second guitarist, but the sound was awesome.

I also agree with pretty much everyone that Eluveitie was really good, but not as good as at Paganfest. Not sure what was up with the mix, as I could hear everything well enough. It just sounded emptier than usual. Maybe because the bagpipe/gaita/whistle member wasn't there.

I left after that to drive back to Athens. Wasn't really interested in the others.
