MALEFIC PARTY/DEMO RELEASE and status
Whats up Guys, my name is Devin and am the founder of the band, Malefic . We're working on doing another Demo with the new line-up. Yes 3 members of the band are currently no longer with us as of 2 months ago. We're still working hard on the music and have taken a step in the right direction for the band. Once the Demo is recorded there will be a Party/demo release SHOW that will be one of the best Atlanta has seen. As of right now the show is going to be taking place at my house. We're looking at January to be the month that we do this since December is such a pain in the ass to schedule stuff. But We plan to have Sybaritic, Apoctalyptic Visions, Chocking Her, and Us of course playing our demo release. We will be handing out free cd's and this is a first come first serve kinda thing. We assure you that this will not be a cd that you will just toss in the back of your car and loose in the millions of papers and coke cans you got in the back of your seats. If your into metal then i would hope i would see you there. We have also changed the url for the myspace we have and its now www.myspace.com/maleficsounds go check out our shit dudes!!! And stay keep on checking in for that show cause its gonna be fucking sick!!!
Thanks, and keep the local scene GOING!!!!!

And busted into our practice with it. And there went their slogan "Angriest band in America" HAHAHAHAHA Banana man. lol. good stuff. Great guys though man, all of them.necroodin wrote:you win points if you drop the angriest band in america

HAHAHA, if there is herbage then I'll have to figure something out cause I damn sure don't want to get busted for some herb again. There will be a room specifically for it and that's it. no outside smokin or anything. There will also be wrist bands for the drinkers. Just trying to look out for my ass too. We don't have an exact date for sure because it might change depending on alot of things. but as of right now all i got is that we are having a demo release show/ party. and it'll be a sick fucking show. So it still stands that its sometime in January.
And for the rest of you, Please feel free to ask questions.

HAHAHAHA yeah, i was talking to the manager there and there's soooo much bullshit with that company, the only reason they keep bands there is because we bring the money to them. Now they wanna charge for electricity?????? I heard about it, but they never acually did it. But No we don't practice there anymore, We practice at my house. You got a web site that i can listen to your music?BlazeTSU wrote:do you guys still practice at the ark? the one on 41?
the souls unrest used to jam there until they tried to jack up the damn rent $100 a month for using electricity. we got out of there.
yeah, when they tried to jack up our cost it was like 2 years ago. basically, the cool manager that was working there was magically NOT working there and all these guys came in like they were going to clean that shithole up. they told us that we had basically been stealing money b/c we signed a lease that said we owed $100 in electric fees a month. they couldn't present us with that exact lease so we just got out of there.MaleficSounds wrote:HAHAHAHA yeah, i was talking to the manager there and there's soooo much bullshit with that company, the only reason they keep bands there is because we bring the money to them. we had similiar problems with the ark on windy hill. we used to rock that place out for 5-6 hours a night, every night. the manager(he lived onsite) was cool as all hell and would even drive his golf cart to our space at like 2am to hang out and listen to us jam. one day we show up and our door is decorated with multiple locks on it and the manager had been fired.
they just took it upon themselves to lock us out but continued to let the endless amounts of mexican party bands to play without end. it was completely without merit and we honestly had to threaten violent force to the new "sherif" in town tp get our equipment. we tried to be nice to him in an effort to get our shit out and he threatened our drummer. he basically threatened everyone in the band before i got there. when i showed up he changed his tune real quick b/c i'm not nearly as small and sweet as the rest of the band was. i basically told him i was going to rip his damn throat out if he didn't open the door. he opened it, we got our shit out, we moved on.
and yeah, if you want to hear some of my music you can click on the link in my signature. the band hasn't done anything for years but at one point we were like one of four metal bands in atlanta.
