i'm a big hank III fan but his new cd blows IMO. I've only listened to it a few times but nothing seems to work together and seems very forced.

i don't know, maybe a few more listens and it'll grow on me but as of now i'm not into it.

Well there's a lot of bad bands being mentioned so what do you expect.

I have a lot of positive posts about plenty of other bands/threads, you're not looking very hard.

i dont LOOK for anything. i just notice things. and for the most part...if i dont like a band....ill keep it to myself. but yeah, opinions are opinions after all.

personally, i dont care for down that much either....they have a few okay songs though.

Like Slut Rag, I don't go looking for things either. We are all here because we like metal, so a positive opinion doesn't necessarily stand out. But the overwhelming impression I'm developing is that you are more comfortable expressing negative opinions than positive opinions.

Yeah I am kinda pissed I am gonna be going to a show that Down is headlining. Keeping my fingers crossed for Weedeater.

I like a few Down songs but I'm not a huge fan by any means. They do have a really good live show though and I'll definitely watch their set.

I'm stoked for Hank III and Weedeater (assuming they show up).
