Ok, so everybody and their brother is asking for ticket information regarding February's Scion Rock Fest (original news here). We won't make you wait any longer. By the way, nine additional bands have been confirmed for the event (click here for the latest flyer):

Converge
Pig Destroyer
Septic Flesh
Coalesce
Trash Talk
Evil Army
US Christmas
Gaylord
Apocalyptic Visions

Here's the deal with the tickets. At 9pm EST today, you will be able to go to the Scion Rock Fest website and register. You will have to provide your email address and your zip code. If you live within a 60 mile radius of a participating pick-up location (see list below), you will be told which store to go to for your tickets. An email confirmation will be sent you and you can then claim your pair of tickets. Please note: you MUST register on the Scion Rock Fest website and bring your confirmation email to the store. Do not call the store or just show up there. If you live outside of the aforementioned radius, your name will be added to a will-call list to get tickets on the day of the show. You will be emailed a confirmation for that arrangement. Here are the participating stores:

At this point I'd almost rather buy them than jump through all the hoops. I've already gone by criminal and seen the "We're all out of tickets so don't fucking ask us about it" sign.
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!

Are they going to have multiple stages setup? they have tons of bands listed and if they only have one or even two stages then it means super short setlists for all these bands...........think about Neurosis having to play a 20 minute set(about 2 songs).

Not to mention that it would also mean that the bands would be most likely playing with a backline of equipment so they could keep the transition times to a minimum. So basically you have approx. 40 completely different bands playing through the same cabs, heads and maybe drums. Hopefully this will not be the case but damn, how would they change everything out fast enough and get sound checks for every band in an quick manner.

i have many concerns about this. i could sit here all day and type out things that make me think this will be a disaster but i'll refrain. i'll also try to get some tickets b/c its worth a shot.....even if it turns out to be the clusterf*ck it seems it might be i could just leave. if it turns out to be as badass as the lineup then it'll be worth it. regardless it'll be good to hang out a bit.
