Why are you charging $10 for all local bands? Thats completely retarded. Should be $5 at most.

$10 is complete bullshit. Little tree is a cool place but $10 for this show is stupid as hell. I garuntee that would turn a lot of people away just because of that.

Dude..i hear ya but again i didn't set the price. I'm trying to get justin to bring it down some but no promises man. They're might be a legitimate reason for the $10. i'm gonna try though.

wow y'all are bitching over $10? do you want the bands to get some money or not? There's 4 bands, probably 15 poeple will show, that's $150 to split between them and the venue... I know I've said I'm broke as hell but I've never bitched like this...I just don't go if I really can't afford it. this is a bit over the top imo.
anyways, I may or may not be able to go...there's alot going on this weekend for me. It just depends on how it plays out.
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

Damn straight Amanda. I hope u can go...if not definitely go to the benefit. The benefit will be $10 but it's 5 bands and for a good cause, also there will be food, beer, and raffles.

I'm guessing one reason is that Littletree managment is charging a lot to rent the place out for shows now because they upgraded their PA. I think Justin (or somebody) might have told me the exact $ amount and it was a bit rediculous, however it wouldn't be as much if another PA was brought in and used (which I assumed would be the case with this show).

Exactly!! Everybody is struggling right now, so a lot of people are going to feel that way when it comes to a show with four local bands. I would rather not get paid if it means more people are going to go to the show. No band likes playing to a concrete floor. If local bands want to make money, then sell cds, shirts, records, stickers, glass pipes (Malefic bowls coming soon, Pat?), etc....

Will i agree on that bro..i've never made any $$$ playing and don't really expect to, i play cuz i love to play. It's got to do alot with Little Tree management and what Justin has to get worked out w/ them. i just talked to Justin and he said originally Eridian was gonna play this show and it was gonna be 5 bands for $10. His pedals resently broke and he's waiting on new pedals/parts if they arrive in time Eridian will be playing and there will be 5 bands if not the show will be the 4 bands announced earlier for $8.

That'd be cool if Eridian played it too. One nice thing about littletree is there are no inflated bar prices! That saves a few bucks for us that like to have a few beers.
I've seen bands have bowls at their merch tables. I imagine you'd have to know the right people , though.

I wish I could offer up my PA, but mine is extremely insufficient so I don't know who is gonna do that. I really don't think this show should be more than $7, I just know a good bit of people who probably won't come because of that price. Its doubtful the bands will get paid anyway. As far as Malefic bowls go Will, i'm not so sure...i was leaning more towards blunt wraps. haha i wish i could make that happen.
