Anyone here remember the memorable Monstrosity show at the Somber Reptile, nearly 10 years ago?
Dude.. i miss the ole Somber Reptile, i'd always go early to shows there to grub some cajun food. Also, remember the big draft beers they had. Good times.

I miss the Somber also. I probably booked 30-35 shows there over the years. It had a bad reputation, but usually the sound was good (for my shows anyway), and it was cool that they served food, had a bar, and it was all ages.

People were all about Slayer tickets last night, and even when I was giving away tickets to this show, they just wanted to see if they could get Slayer tickets instead.
PM me if you would like to win a pair

Just sent you a message if you still have them, it might be a bit late but worth a shot I guess.

pretty great show. i enjoyed HOD a lot and monstrosity was pretty badass as well. fun hanging out with egg yolkeo and seeing tommy there as usual. also met screambloodygore.
i officially nominate tommy as the most metal dude on the forum as he is at every show ever which is pretty fucking cool...

That vocalist from HOD was a funnyman. Gibby Hanes meets Don Rickles.
They sounded like a less grindy Antaeus! I dug 'em.

What an awesome show! By far the best Drunken Unicorn show since Watain and Angelcorpse a couple of years ago (and I've seen a ton of shows at the Unicorn since then). That was the most fun that I've had at any show in quite a while too. More metal at the Unicorn!
And slut rag...many thanks dude, but I'm merely feeding an addiction!
Rickles and Gibby Haynes, ha,ha!
