where can you see the whole lineup? I don't see it on the myspace for the fest. I'm probably gonna have to miss the 13th because I'm going to the black metal movie that night but I want to check this out.

Royal Thunder, Black Skies, Sons of Tonatiuh, Whores, Lazer/Wulf, Gollum, Laser Flames on the Great Big News

Saturday 8/15
Black Tusk, Music Hates You, Armazilla, Subrig Destroyer, Noble Rust, Doomsayer

Some good bands and a pretty awesome rock/doom line-up three nights in a row, but I'm kind of wondering about the metal too. I was expecting at least one or two full on bands to be added. Devilneck Mostly Rock Fest.

Yeah, i really don't understand how this is called a metalfest. I mean, nothing against any of the bands, but it's not a metalfest.

scratch that last comment...Rock Fest would have been a better choice of words but then Devilneck Rockfest wouldn't sound as good. Either way, it wasn't my decision...ha

Well, hopefully you understand that the term metal stands for slightly different music, at least in my opinion, but i guess it doesn't matter nowadays.

I just don't think it's metal. i'm allowed to be honest and that's all. There are really good bands on the bill, but anywhere else this wouldn't be called a metalfest. But, it doesn't matter anyway. Just voicing my opinion, that's all.

that's cool, man. opinions ARE opinions. but i usually keep them to myself as no one really cares about what i think. and i think metal covers a lot of grounds. but usually anything with harsh vocals, distorted guitars, etc. i consider METAL. but that is just me.
