According to their myspace, Satanic black metal masters Urgehal are going to do a US tour with 2 other bands in September/October. Can someone try to get an Atlanta date please?

Agreed. Urgehal is one of the best black metal bands out there right now hands down. Like Dissection with just as much talent but an even more sinister sound.

Check out Through Thick Fog Til Death or Goatcraft Torment and you will bow down.

I don't remember them sounding like Dissection, but maybe I need to dust off that stuff and reabsorb.

Dissection was just the closest comparison I could think of. Urgehal has some of the same melodic elements and general overall feel, but darker and with more old school black metal edge and speed. Definitely TNBM.

For those who like black metal they are definitely not to be missed. Watain was good, but these guys are better.

Killer bands all. If you got even one of them at Masquerade they would be worth the whole ticket price. (But please try to get them all!)

That is a great lineup. I wish D666 could have made the Absu tour. Hopefully Urgehal will extend their tour a little. Glad others want them here too!
