I think if we're looking for "special", Butthole Surfers is the same night (just had to mention that). I'll probably swing by. I actually dig Black One in small doses.

the only song that sounds like a "song". i can get into sunn every now and then and i think their new cd is pretty good so i definitely would like to see them live and experience the bowel-moving bass.

Fuck yes. I didn't either. Last time I saw them was at 688.

I liked Sunn better when they were an unabashed Earth cover band and not media annointed avant-garde composers.
