I wouldn't go as far to say that Coolio is better than most post rock, but I would say that Gucci Mane, is.
The new Alice In Chains is great. Deep album and it's definitely Alice In Chains. Check it out.

I totally just heard Pickles' voice in my head when I read that.
I got my Vader digipak in the mail last night! Good old reliable Vader. Meat & potatoes.

sgt. (awesome japanese post-rock)
what the hell is post-rock?
"after" rock? or some indie rock stuff? I never got the whole "post" thing...
Hard to explain...really ambient with no vocals (most of the time). If you wanna hear some examples, listen to sleepmakeswaves, God is An Astronaut, If These Trees Could Talk, and This Will Destroy You.
It's quickly becoming my 2nd favorite genre next to metal.
Mono, Mogwai, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and Sigur Ros all leap immediately to mind.
Now listening to: Death.FM
I listened to some of this...not bad. I like stuff with no vocals. I suppose you could throw in Burzum's later stuff into this category as well...
For what it is worth, I see that Mono is playing the Masquerade the same night as Gorjia. If you go, you should pop down to Hell (which is where I assume that they are playing) and check them out.

truth.
I don't know if any of y'all post there but I recently found the smnnews forums and that place is populated by some fucking wierdoes but since it's the internets, you can never really be sure if it's just some 14 year old kid trying to get his rocks off! hahaha
The official Mayhem forum used to be over there. I once saw a guy say "we have spilled enough words over this." (I imagined him sitting on a throne, dressed in skins with his hand on the hilt of a big broadsword, pointing down into the wooden floor.) I've also seen multiple users suggests that other users kill themselves. It is a friendly place.

Darkthrone - Transylvanian Hunger
Bathory - Under the Sign of the Black Mark
Mayhem - De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas
New Immortal needs to leak because I'm in a black metal mood right now.
