It was an alright show. Secrets of the Moon was my favorite act. I thought Divine Heresy was horrible, personally. I agree they did have a huge ego. When they screamed at us "Why aren't you guys excited? I thought this was a metal show!" I wanted to yell, yeah well metal isn't suppose to have crappy musicians and breakdowns. Moonspell was pretty good, but I decided to leave half way through their set as I was getting kind of bored.

I'm really sorry I couldn't get there in time for their set, after seeing all the SotM love here...had to stay at work until 7:30 and arrived right before Divine Heresy began their mosh-pit beg-a-thon.The_Heathen wrote:
I think Secrets of the Moon only played 4 songs, 2 from Antithesis and 2 from the new one Privilegivm. The songs were very long so if you didn't know the songs, it might have been hard to tell how many they played.
If a band has to ask for people to form a mosh-pit, Something Is Wrong. Just shut up and play and kick ass if you can.Divine Heresy were terrible, and Dino has got an ego even bigger than he is. What a dick. Even the other bands wished Samael was there.
This. I was hoping for "In And Above Men" or "Under Lowering Skies"....and I wasn't alone, as I heard at least two people shouting out the song titles before the encore.Moonspell was great, and Fernando is a terrific front man and a nice guy. Wished they had played some faster songs towards the end rather than the more atmospheric stuff, but I'm just being picky.
Hey, who were you/what were you wearing? Also met Alex from WREK and Paul so that was nice too![]()
It was good to see Alex D. at the show, haven't seen him at ashow in a while. He might be dropping by WREKage to guest-host occasionally.
Holy shit, Grand Admiral Thrawn? One of the guys from SOTM ( must have been the drummer Thrawn)
He looks remarkably, ummm, human.

Yeah, he seemed like he was really enjoying your conversation. I'll definitely have to try to catch them if they come back.talked to my friend and I for a good 30 minutes! Great guy, said he was enjoying the US so far, so who knows if they'll come back?
SotM made a wise decision, it seems, in sharing a bus with Moonspell.

Wow, never thought I'd see my post dissected like that!
So I was the guy in the Amorphis Silent Waters shirt. If you're the same Paul that was in the ProgPower shirt, then you and I talked for about 30 minutes before my friend and I had to leave.
...and yes, Lucifer Speaks was worth the price of admission. Though if you ask Dino, his fat ass was worth the price of admission. Hails to Secrets of the Moonspell!
