Personally, my favorite pronunciation on the album is...

"A sarco-FAY-gus! Of a child!"

Sometimes I fear that exposure to so much European (or Latin American, for that matter) metal is going to result in an awkward social moment for me. After listening to Myrkskog I had to remind myself that "misanthropy" is not, in fact, pronounced "missin' throppy."

Marduk - Wormwood
Gorgoroth - Quantos Possunt etc etc

I'm really enjoying this Marduk. Sorry, VOEGTLIN... the Macho Man has never sounded better! Track 2 should be called "Bonesaw is Ready."

Wolves in the Throne Room -- Black Cascade. I can't say that I like this one as much as Diadem of 12 Stars. That one, I think, is a phenomenal album.

No apology needed. I don't like anything.

Danzig -- S/T. I've been listengin to this one for obvious reasons. It still rocks, twenty years later. Except for "She Rides" and "Mother." Never really like the first and can't really stand the second, any more.

Yeah, "Mother" tends to get overplayed. And over-requested.

Currently I'm listening to some Steve Morse...saw his show on Halloween night -- providing a great excuse NOT to have to be at home giving out candy :) -- and it was a stunning tour de force. Steve was amazing of course, but we also got the mighty Dave LaRue on bass, plus an excellent much-younger drummer with great chops.... Even the opener, a solo singer/guitarist, was great. 8)
