I saw one dude with a green leopard head that was causing some trouble with a black guy during the waste. I left just before the end.

@GameFreac I didn't realize that was you or I would have said hi. Nice shirt though that is a really good CD.
Yeah one of my fav albums of last year...I really don't know what most of the people on this forum look like anyways so I never say hey to anyone besides Brian and 2 other people from another forum. I was kinda standing in the back like an emo kid for most of the bands but got in the front for MW.

As for the show, I missed Cauldron on purpose because I worked and listened to Sadus all the way down to get pumped. Phobia was great. Some of their stuff reminded me of Disfear. I need to get more of their stuff.

Goatwhore ruled as always but people didn't seem as into em as usual.

And just like last year (October 30th?), Municipal Waste destroyed again. One of the funnest live bands ever and this was actually better than the 1st show because more people actually showed up, stage dived, and moshed than last time. I thought about stage diving since I never have in my life but some people looked like they weren't being catched and I didn't wanna take that risk getting hurt with the Ensiferum show Monday and Eluveitie show Friday.

Highlights:

The guy with the boogie board
The fat guy with the huge beard getting his pants pulled down and spanked...funny but I got out of the way haha.
The huge guy that kept trying to stage dive and kept falling flat on his face because he was too big to catch.

Overall, amazing show and I will continue seeing them every headlining show until they stop playing.

The guy with the boogie board was drunk as shit. It was funny as shit when the skinhead got annoyed with it and ripped it off his arm and everyone was scrabbling to keep him from ripping off his arm. I wanted to keep moshing, but things were getting so crazy I thought otherwise. If I had better insurance I would keep on moshing. Either way dude, you will see me tonight at Ensiferum. Just look for the long haired guy in the kilt.

Nothing to write home about. Somebody spotted a swastika tattoo on one of those guys in the pit and freaked. It escalated to a full blown staring contest outside. Any real red-laced skin would've been stomping throats by then.

That was the biggest crowd I've ever seen at the Unicorn. Goatwhore seems to be one of those bands that no one is really on the fence about. I dig 'em a lot. They've been playing the older tunes less and less since the release of the new album. This was the first time out of the six or seven other times that I've seen them over the years where they never played Sky Inferno. The whole show was great. I'd love to see more and more real metal at the Unicorn. This was right up there with the Watain and Monstrosity shows in my book.

I noticed that too. Only 2 off A Haunting Curse. First time I've seen them not play Invert the Virgin or Sky Inferno.

The new songs were pretty good, I just haven't listened to the album yet.

I love the new Goatwhore. It's solid all the way through.

Did anyone see those 2 guys about to fight...then everyone was holding them back...then they finally got near each other and hugged?

I was laughing so hard...totally not expected.

Rats. You and I have talked about that Watain show before -- I'm sorry that I missed this one.

Stupid job, getting in the way.

They played both!
Mind Eraser was at the end, as part of their encore.

Well this was my first time at the Drunken Unicorn. Small place but great for a metal show for sure. Saw Tommy, Gene and Brian there and I know a few others from here showed up. Cauldron was better then I thought after I heard there myspace stuff. Phobia was great! I am getting more into grindcore and these guys were good. They played alot of songs but thats because they are short. One was like 10 seconds. I tried for the setlist but the guitar player said that was the only copy and had to keep it. I was there for Goatwhore and they did not disappoint. They played 6 new songs which was good. Ben is a great frontman and got the crowd ripping. This was the best I have seen them so far. Their setlist was:
The All-Destroying
Provoking The Ritual Of Death
Desolate Path To Apocalyptic Ruin
Shadow Of A knife
The Black Art Of Deception
Forever Consumed Oblivion
Carving Out The Eyes Of God
Nocturnal Holocaust
Alchemy Of The Blck Sun Cult
In Legions, I Am Wars Of Wrath
The Serpent That Enslaves What Is Worshipped
Apocalyptic Havoc
I wa up front for the whole show banging hard. However it is official, I did bruise some ribs when this big dude crashed into me and mashed me into the floor monitor. The price to pay I guess, hahaha! Heard so much about Municipal Waste so I was in for a treat. Because of all the wildness, I stood on the benches in the corner but the view was good. Saw Tommy, Gene and Brian get wrecked in the pit and the boogie board was funny too. Guys were also hanging from the rafters, it was insane. Got a few pictures but I have to get a good slimline camera. One funny thing was they forgot to take down the Cauldron banner so it was up the whole night. One of the best shows since I have been here.
