Goddammit, posted this under the wrong account.

Sara will be appalled when she sees this, as she's a stupid cunt who hates anything other than sludge or doom.

Gene! If your mom asks me about that camera I am a shitty liar. Just warning you. I'll try to get my poker face ready.

My mom got into Yngwie as well as Satriani back when I was a teenager. I took her to the Masquerade to see Yngwie. She enjoyed the show but couldn't stop laughing at the singer running around in his gold lamay (sp? Her word, not mine) shirt.

She also went to a few of my bands shows when I was a kid (and too young to drive myself and my gear there) and she came out to one of the Mojo shows that Package opened up just because she wanted to see us play for a packed house. It wasn't until later that night that I realized I had just said "Fuck" in front of my mom like a hundred times.

Oh, and I'll be at this show. Look for the guy in the black kilt with the fistful of Genitorturers tickets for sale.
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!

If any of you missed this then you missed a great show!

I saw alot of you fuckers there too! :D

Vreid was killer...it was more black metal-ish than folk metal. I thought they were gonna be folk metal but I like both so it was a win for me!

Alestorm was just hilarious! They're just a bunch of drunk pirates hahaha and apparently they all had the swine flu...so if everyone who was up front gets sick we know why lol

Belphegor was good as always (at least in my opinion) I've seen them before so it wasn't anything new for me.

Eluveitie was amazing! There's no other way to put it. I thought it was cool how they were just switching from instrument to instrument too (not the quitarists and drummer) I saw some instruments up there that I never knew existed...what was that thing the woman on the right holding? It had a crank and some keys she was pressing along with some strings. Was it a sitar? (I don't know what those look like).

The crowd was pretty tame for the most part up until Eluveitie went on. (I'm not complaining, just something I noticed) There was no staff up front to catch crowdsurfers the whole night until Eluveitie's set...yeah so I had noone to catch me and now I have a nice welt on my right shin  Right as I fell, the staff member was coming...he was just a few seconds too late to catch me though! I knew nobody was up there though so I knew what was coming...Inis Mona is an awesome song so I was crowdsurfing no matter what! I've had worse and it's all in good fun though! :P

Only word to describe that first band: horrible.
Well I'm sure there are others, that's just the first that came to mind.

I went for Vreid. They slayed. Best set of the night by far.

Skipped ALestorm except for about a song and a half. Not my thing.

Belphegor was kind of boring so I went outside. When I came back in they were a lot better, idk what's up with that.

Didn't see Eluveitie.

After Vreid's set I went up to talk to them and just be all "hey nice set blah blah blah" and they got really excited, pulled out a video camera, pulled me into the room by the bar/merch section and videotaped me and my thoughts on the show, haha. Maybe I'll end up on a DVD somewhere?

Hahaha, thats a hurdy gurdy! I am glad I attended this show and it was great. There was a great turnout both in crowd and at least 8 or so from the forum. The first band who I can't pronounce was not bad (Kivimetsan Druidi). The singer was doing a belly/folk dancing so I don't know if the boys appreciated it or not, bwahahahaha! Vreid was killer and definitely more black n roll! Alestorm were crazy pirates but not impressive in stature. I think most of them were 5 foot maybe but really fun and folky. Belphegor were awesome but did seem out of place in this fest. They played in the dark the first half of the show till they turned on the front lights, picture time! Last, Eluveitie were really good. Chrigel was a great frontman and played some pipes instruments as well. The hurdy-gurdy girl Anna was great and her voice was intoxicating. I listened to some of their myspace songs and they came across live excellent. Omnos, Inis Mona and Grey Sublime Archon were my fav's. I wish I knew there music better. Oh and whats with the majority of folk musicians that are skinny as hell. The woman are not though......... :D

Seriously, what the hell were they doing on this bill? Not that I'm complaining, cuz I'll take my Belphegor wherever I can get it. But an all-folk-metal tour?? Metalfreak and I have sworn to go dressed as pirates next time. I was so jealous of those dudes in puffy shirts.

And Brian has a swift kick in the ass coming for calling my future ex-husband boring. My future ex-husband who apparently has only just learned the word "bitches." Sometimes I wonder if that dude speaks any English at all. Whatever, as long as he can say "I do" we're good. Also kudos to me for not waking up on the tour bus this morning. (V-GER, I'm yoinking that shot of Helmuth. Thanks a bunch.)

Good to finally meet you, Strange! Glad I didn't grab the first dude in a black kilt because you were in good company! :D

I had a blast at the show! The main reason I went was for Kivimetsan Druidi and was pretty upset when I heard that Joni was sick. Their sound suffered a little due to him not being there to do vocals and guitars but I still enjoyed their set. I was extremely pissed that they only played 4 songs though. I went towards the back when Vreid started because I was hoping KmD would come out and talk to the fans, but they didn't. Vreid was good, just not my thing. They had good stage presence though which is always a good thing. Alestorm was hilarious as always. Belphegor bored the living shit out of me. It felt like their set went on forever. I honestly couldn't take a band that has Cookie Monster for the vocalist seriously. I'm not saying they are a bad band, just not my thing. Eluveitie was plain amazing. Saw them back in Paganfest also and they kicked ass there too. The live show kinda suffered because of the Kirders not being there. Overall, however, it was a pretty good show. Although what was up with everyone using Eluveitie's drums and stage props?

I also saw a few of you there and talked with you guys. Paul and Adam, it was great talking to you guys again. Strange, it was nice meeting you after the show, sweet kilt by the way haha.
