So Atlanta missed out on the Urgehal tour, but maybe we can get this great Australian band to come here? This posted on their labels website, Moribund Cult -Full US Tour 2010 - Dates to be announced soon! Parties interested to book NAZXUL US shows please contact management: nazxul@hotmail.com

Nazxul would indeed be badass, but I don't see it happening. There just doesn't seem to be a critical mass of people in Atlanta really into black metal enough to know much about the good underground bands, as evidenced by the lack of response to the recent Urgehal tour.

Bear witness to the black metal onslaught next Tuesday, though. Marduk and Merrimack are truly sworn.

Btw, Australia is the source of many great black-tinged metal bands - Destroyer 666 (of course), Nazxul, Gospel of the Horns, Grenade, Razor of Occam - to name a few. Atlanta would be lucky to get even one of them for a show.

I know, it is true that Atlanta will get very few true black metal shows. Just wishful thinking I guess.

Wishful thinking, but not out of the realm of reality. I never expected Negative Plane, Valdur, Horna, Frostmoon Eclipse, Benighted In Sodom, Ashdautus, Woe and even Absu to come through Atlanta. Those have all been within the last couple years or so.

If the shows are supported well, then I am sure the Masquerade will try to book more.
