well Testament was here at the Masquerade almost 6 months ago and Slayer played the Tabernacle a few years in a row a few years back. Megadeth...yeah I think they have been passed that for a long time nowKnucklehead wrote:This is a Monday and my week is relatively clear. I would prefer if this were in a club somewhere, but I guess all of these bands are well past that stage. I saw Slayer in a club in 1990 and Testament two or three times, also back in the day, in a club. The only time I saw Megadeth was opening for Dio, so that was obviously an arena show.
There are too many people at arena shows.

even still, gonna be fucking amazing!
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???
that and they can pretty much ignore each others existence on a tour this bigGenerubin wrote:Vhyle wrote:Don't Dave and Kerry hate eachother's guts?
I'm pretty sure they still do, but if a certain amount of money was handed to them I'm pretty sure they wouldn't care about past grudges.

Pre-Sale Passwords
Who has pre-sale passwords to share (there's several pre-sale options on Ticketmaster)? Also what's the deal with the VIP package? I really couldn't care less about a meet and greet or getting any dumb schwag, but better seats are cool if they aren't like $100/each.
Funny that they are having the floor sold as seated. Back in '91 at Clash of the Titans that shit was ripped by the end of the first band. Even the Green Day show there a few months back had a general admission floor.

I think the last time Slayer played the Tabernacle was in 2005 or so. To be honest, I was thinking of someplace more like Hell.Metalfreak wrote:well Testament was here at the Masquerade almost 6 months ago and Slayer played the Tabernacle a few years in a row a few years back. I still regret that I missed Testament. However, my son was two weeks old and there was no way I was going to a show.
