Blut Aus Nord - Memoria Vetusta 2
Heresi - something Latin
Scar Symmetry - Holographic Universe
Judas Priest - Point of Entry, Sin After Sin

Good to know Criminal has a metal section -- that's where all these discs came from. They seem to have a boner for newer black metal (Watain, WITTR, Xasthur, Candlelight and Southern Lord bands) but there's some good stuff in there.

Not saying new bm is bad. I like it a lot. And I shouldn't complain anyway, as Criminal seems to be the last bastion of metal CD's in the metro area.

I saw a Profanatica CD in there. That was surreal.

Not sure...just an acoustic guitarist. Just discovered him last night...I think he's just a solo guy but I don't know.

Might be him; he's gone solo as of the last year or so. I know him pretty well, if it's the same guy.

Last night I was forced to listen to an acoustic country/folk band of the chatty storytelling variety. The lead guy kept looking at me and smiling jovially so I had to clap and play along, and there were only like ten other people in the room so there was no chance of escape. I thought of you guys wistfully and squeezed out a tear.
