Black Metal Documentary
Somebody just told me about a documentary about a father whose metalhead son goes missing, and the dad starts investigating into the "dark circuits of the deadliest underground music, black metal." It's supposedly a true story, I guess some kind of preachy documentary. It sounds horribly bad and I want to see it.
Anyone heard of it?

Only 60 posts Chaos? I thought you were more prolific than that. I guess it's quality, not quantity.Chaos wrote:no shithead we have not heard of that
Now get back under the porch.
badcarburetor, if you find out what that is, let me know because it sounds hilarious. Like something Rikki Lake would have produced in her heyday. Or "heyday."
Well done: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/t ... 446342.stmMS_39455 wrote:I vaguely remember hearing about this. Pretty sure it was a BBC television documentary but it was aired on the Discovery Channel in the US a few years ago. I had a friend claim that he saw Glenn Benton in some interview on Discovery about the same time. Gotta' be the same program.
We should have Forum Movie Night. And we'll turn the TV so Chaos can see it from under the porch.

Thanks for all the help, y'all, and a special nod to Chaos for so generously speaking for everyone and so quickly after my original post. What a peach...
I may have actually seen Death Metal Murders when it originally ran, but my memory is shit. I just remember some wack documentary from around that time about that general subject matter. I can't find a legit copy anywhere. May have to take drastic measures.
Again, 'preesh!
