Neutral Milk Hotel - both albums...finally listened to them and love it
Burzum - Filosem (the 1st Burzum I don't hate!)
He is We - Demo songs (again)
Ensiferum - From Afar
A Lily - Wake:Sleep (amazing)
Unbrellas in the Rain - Weider Daheim
sleepmakeswaves - In Today Already Walks Tomorrow, split, and demo
My Bloody Valentine - Isn't Anything
UNDERrated??!??!!?!?!?
Go ask any hipster what they think of NMH. You'll get responses ranging from "best band ever." to "best band ever!!!!!" to "I LOVE JEFF MANGUM!!!!!!"
Pitchfork even deleted all trace of their first review of Aeroplane a few years ago (they had given it a 7.something) and replaced it with a 10 when they saw how much hipster fucks liked that band.
Either way, whether they're underrated, overrated, or just rated, they fucking ruled.

One of my favorite death metal scenes is the Swedish death metal scenes at the moment. Entombed, Unleashed, and Dismember are such great bands. There are other bands I need The New York scene is pretty cool too. All the great tions are from there like Suffocation, Incantation, Immolation etc. I don't think you can like death metal without liking the Florida death metal. There are way too many great bands from that area.
I actually listened to Graveless today and they fucking rule! I need a few more recommendations for this genre actually.
