Birth control glasses?
Anyway, I was definitely sporting a hoodie. As GameFreac pointed out was a cold night in hell.
I thought it was a good show overall, and the place was definitely packed. I think Baroness and Torche attract a lot of fans that aren't generally Metalheads, but I try not to hold that against 'em. haha

as baroness and torche have become more "rock" and less "metal" they have attracted some less than desirable followers. i still enjoy both bands (torche less so, baroness immensely)

Oh...okay. I figure I can't talk too much shit about what other people wear. (Guys in skirts shouldn't throw stones...unless it's that contest at the highland games where you actually throw huge stones. haha)

I love Iron Age. I wish I wasnt getting fucked by the law at the time. I can see why they are trying to play with more metal bands instead of hardcore bands, but I actually thought metal kids wouldnt be into them as much as they are.

I see those kids at quite a few shows. I usually see them at progressive shows or wearing shirts like Opeth, Mastodon, High on Fire, Enslaved, etc. They don't usually bother me, but they aren't the crowd that I'm use to seeing at shows. The majority of the crowd at the outside stage during Scion were these kids.

At least the guy in Diana's photo actually has lenses in those frames (promise I'm not being facetious). I'll step up to being a smart ass...my initial reaction upon comparing the number of people at the Vader show a couple of nights earlier to the throngs that came out for this show.

...maybe they just take the lenses out in case they get karate kicked by h/c kids in the pit.
I wasn't baggin' on you though man. I honestly didn't know what you meant about the glasses. And if people were honestly sporting those just for looks who don't need them for vision purposes at all then yeah...that's pretty gay.
As far as the difference in crowd goes, was the Vader show upstairs? Because that same crowd would have looked sparse in Heaven.
