Otep: March 11 @ Masquarade

Otep, Bury Your Dead and Through The Eyes Of The Dead. I really enjoy Otep and have since day one. Saw them at Ozzfest on this little stage and they killed. They also recently got their original drummer Moke back. Hopefully I will be here for it.

I'm not really into Otep too much, but I gotta give them credit for sending WREKage a pre-recorded, personalized "drop" several years ago. "Hey, this is Otep, and you're listening to WREKage on 91.1FM, WREK Atlanta." More bands should do this.

We've since lost or misplaced that 10-second CD, too.

I used to be a HUGE fan of Otep, and each time they've come to town, i've missed them... and then each time they've released a CD, i've liked them less and less...

This stated. I'll try to see them, to see if the live show lives up to the hype.

I'm fairly sure that I'm the only person in Atlanta with this dilemna, but tomorrow night is Otep at Masquerade and Leatherface at the Drunken Unicorn. L'face takes priority, but since the venues are basically across the street from each other, I'm hoping to catch both bands.

I know it's wrong, but I like Otep. They are my only nu metal weakness.

So Masquerade, can you give me a set time for Otep, please?
