The Entrance Band 1/26 @ The Earl

So this isn't metal but I decided to post it kind of as a reminder to Tommy/last time I saw them there were a couple metal heads in the crowd.

A psychedelic/blues/freak folk trio made up of Guy Blakeslee, Derek W. James, and Paz Lenchantin (ex Zwan and A Perfect Circle). For fans of bands that lived in Laurel Canyon during the 60s/70s (like the Byrds or Zappa) or contemporary bands like Nebula or Dead Meadow.

They are playing at the Caledonia Lounge in Athens 1/25 as well and I would have definitely gone if I didn't just find out about it (I have to work).

Yeah, I figured you would be there. It was fucking amazing and really heavy, with psychedelic stuff on a projector a la Storm of Light. I'll have to check out Liturgy too.

who the fuck is this band liturgy? im sure its not the unmatched brutality band with all of brodequin (methods era) plus matti way on vocals. i keep hearing about this band, change your damn name! even though im not even so much into the real liturgy these days!
