Jail... then a record!

How many artists have done significant jail time, been released, and recorded a record?

Only ones I can think of are Jon Nodtveidt and now, um, Varg Vikernes. Gotta be some Oi! bands out there.

BÃƒÂ¥rd Eithun (Faust), Snorre Ruch, Gaahl, Peter Steele, Infernus (not long sentence)...

And I think somebody from Keep of Kalessin did too. Or they were accused of rape or something. I can't remember.

I think it was Obsidian, he was accused but it got dropped because it was just some whore who wanted attention or something

bile movement from albany, ga. i think they recorded before some jail time for attempted murder and afterward. i also think they're crap.
