you get some thenGameFreac wrote:I still have no Sabbath albums, besides Heaven and Hell stuff.

If you don't want to buy all their albums (and spend alot of $$$), then get We Sold Our Souls for Rock n Roll. well, unless you download then I guess you can find them somewhere in the realm of the internets.
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

I didn't burn out on "Crazy Train" till I started watching Braves games regularly. (Damn you, Chipper.) Holy christ, the only thing to get me on the mute button faster is a freecreditreport.com commercial. It doesn't help that I've never been much of a fan of Ozzy's voice, which brings me to my acclamation for Sabbath's Dio years: those three albums fucking rule. I much prefer their more stately and clean sound to the warbling griminess of the Ozzy stuff. Yet, ironically, I do admit that "Black Sabbath" is not only a brilliant song but pretty much singularly responsible for most of my favorite music -- black metal, in which genre I'm fine with warbling griminess.
I also agree that Dio should've steered clear of Ozzy's tunes on Live Evil. That just ... didn't work at all.

There are so many great song on Blizzard, though. "Suicide Solution" (WHIIIIIINE iz FIIIINE buh LIKKKAS QUICKKA); "Mr Crowley;" "I Don't Know;" "Steal Away;" shit, even fucking "Dee" is rad. Sounds like Randy's got three hands.DeathfareDevil wrote:I didn't burn out on "Crazy Train" till I started watching Braves games regularly. (Damn you, Chipper.)
Diary is flawless. Even Bark at the Moon has its moments.

I'm not talking shit, but in my opinion there's not a damn fucking thing wrong with Ozzy's voice. I never cared for his solo stuff but he was the original master of Sabbath. I've got nothing against Dio but his records came way after I was listening to Ozzy's.GameFreac wrote: I just don't like Ozzy's voice...that's why I've avoided it for so long.
It's cool. A lot of people get pissed at me and think I'm crazy since I don't like his voice but I just don't. I can't help it.Azrael wrote:I'm not talking shit, but in my opinion there's not a damn fucking thing wrong with Ozzy's voice. What have you heard of his Sabbath material? (I mean, there's really now way that a person can avoid hearing some of those songs...) I'm truly just curious...GameFreac wrote:It's cool. my boyfriend is the same way...can't stand it but now since he has gone on a sludge/ drone kick, I think he appreciates them more but still won't buy an album of there's. It's all in tastes...if you can't get into it then you won't like it...simple as that! I like Ozzy's voice but not everyone is me so I can't expect everyone else to like it as well. I'll only get pissed at you if you didn't give it a shot first haha!GameFreac wrote:It's cool. A lot of people get pissed at me and think I'm crazy since I don't like his voice but I just don't. Yeah I'm on a sludge kick so that's mainly why I'm getting some. I just got the 1st album so I'll probably listen to it tomorrow.
@ Knucklehead
I've mostly heard the standard hits and some others:
War Pigs
Iron Man
Paranoid
Children of the Grave
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
Gypsy
I honestly haven't really given em a shot (but am now) because of Ozzy's vocals. I really don't like them. I'll try to get past them though.
