G.B.H - Thur June 3 Masq

Post by Diana » Fri April 9th, 2010, 7:26 am

Hell 7pm $15

Lucky thing for Col that Thursday nights + 25 min drive home = sober Diana. Things happen when Drunk Diana shows up. Bad things.

No mention of opening bands. I'm hoping for Whole Wheat Bread.

Yeahhh! I was hoping I wouldn't have to go to Warped Tour to see them!
What do you mean I'm not kind, just not your kind.

hmmm... those openers sound like they're probably terrible, though i guess i shouldn't judge a book by it's cover (or a band by it's name) still though... $15 for GBH and 2 bands i dislike is probably not gonna happen.

Last GBH record I bought was Midnight Madness. Do they play the old stuff at shows?

You bet they do. I just bought the new one and I'll let you know how it is.

As far as these openers go, I checked out their websites and decided I'm gonna go ahead and go to spin class and eat dinner first. See you kids around 9:30.

Diana, I share your tasty for the runty, spiky blonde one....

Radio Nowhere is pretty good local punk. All the dudes have been around in a variety of other bands. I guess it'll be one of those love it or hate it kinda things. I'm happy for them.

And, FUCK YEAH, GBmuddafuggin'H!

I realize this isn't going to sound very objective coming from me, but the new G.B.H album is super.

Ah, I'm too lazy, old and jaded. Entertain me with repeated stage invasions and those classy "grab the singer and jump up and down moves" that used to be so common.

All the same I'm jazzed as fuck to see one of my all time favorite bands yet again. I missed them last time because I had my own show that night. Luxury problem I know, but still a bummer...
