this topic is inspired by a discussion I had last night at Heathenfest, and me nerding out to Nightfall in Middle Earth this morning.

Is there anyone who DOESN'T like this band??????

haha, about 5 minutes after I got the whole "WHAT IS THIS FAGGOT SHIT YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO SUICIDE SILENCE BRO" speech from my roommate, we went to the gas station for some energy drinks. Saw some guy wearing a Nightfall in Middle Earth shirt there \m/

been listening to them a whole lot today.
incredibly happy for the new album coming out!!

That new album cover is hideous...and like the exact same thing as last time

but I am super pumped for it. the new album. a return to 6+ minute/avg. songs and an almost 10 minute opener

the little snippets they've let out so far sound a little better than Twist so I'm optimistic, but not too much. it'll still probably be worse than everything else they've done

I generally hate power metal. But I have to say Valhalla by blind guardian is a pretty killer song. I just won't go any beyond that because I know it won't get any better.

Yeah, the live version of "Valhalla" is one of my more common picks by BG on WREKage, and listeners don't seem to mind it, either.
