Oh, I know. That is the only metal show that I can find, besides two appearances of This Will Destroy You. Don't get me wrong -- I dig Mogwai and Mono and WITTR. But I thought I'd find something a little more hardcore than them.

And I am back in Atlanta the night of Eyehategod, etc.

Except that I am now getting my metal fix through you sad sacks. It isn't exactly politic to listen to the ipod when you're supposed to be on vacation with they wife...

Just saw "Winter's Bone" -- a really good movie which you guys might want to check out.

Anyway, it takes place in the Ozarks and is about country folk. I had to laugh quietly inside listening to all these sophisticated New Yorkers get squeamish at the scene of a squirrel being field-dressed.

And I'm not really even country.
