Man, I went and saw Nachtmystium, Withered and Eyehategod last night at Ground Zero in Spartanburg, SC. Blake had the CD's and Vinyl for sale at the merch table, but NO shirts at all. Plus the bar was cash only with no ATM, so I had beers and I'll have to get the new CD later. Bummer. thay played stuff off of it though and it ruled. They fucking KILLED it, seriously.Brian wrote: Nachtmystium - Addicts: Black Meddle Part II

Agreed on the new Watain. Really digging it. Bummed to hear the new Nachtmystium is a downer. I'll. Still give it a shot, though.
Devil's Blood - The Time of Time Evermore
I don't think I would have ever checked this out on my own, but when the dudes from Cold Northern Vengeance stayed with me, they insiisted on giving me a copy on CD. I listened to it to be polite and ended up obsessed. I'm desperately trying to track down a copy of the 2xLP for less than $65 shipped from Europe.
Deathhammer - Forever Ripping Fast
Children of Technology - Time to Face the Doomsday
Fuuuuck I love this band! Italian post apocalyptic metal punk goodness.
Wolfpack/Wolfbrigade - various tracks
Wastelander - Wardrive and 7" demo
I've been obsessed with band for a good year. Just how punk and metal should sound when mixed up.
Lots of various Echo and the Bunnymen, Fleetwood Mac and Dead Can Dance at night.

Awesome. You are going to love it. Get that 7" demo, too, if you can find it. Their shit is just brilliant.
Massgrave - some collection
Burzum - Belus 2xLP
I like this album very much. Am I alone?
Mayhem - Deathcrush
Just cause....
Slaughter (Can)- forget the name of the LP.
Bought from Agitpunk recently. I think it's a collection of old shit. Dig it.
I forget what else I spun during last night's late night PBRs.
Oh yeah, there was a bunch of Nick Cave.

No, it's Nocturnal Karnage. Fucking killer shit.MS_39455 wrote:Strappado I hope! That's a tough find.badcarburetor wrote: Slaughter (Can)- forget the name of the LP.

Watain - Lawless Darkness
Fuck, this is just so good. I hate that I missed them last time around.
Enforcer - Diamonds
Hmm...Not sure about this. It could totally win me over or like a nice raw milk cheese with an ever so pungent bite or it could end up with the texture and finish of a Velveeta "singles" slice.
Vegan Reich, Raid and some other Hardline shit.
I have no idea why this started sounding good. Maybe it was the beer?
Crom - Cocaine Wars
Um, what the fuck is this?
Exene Cervenka - Running Sacred
This should be a classic. Not sure why it's not Exene does sincere folk in a way that few can pull off.
Soundtrack of Our Lives - Communion
Brilliant mix of styles. Few bands can take it from legit up tempo garage rockers down to subtle ambient/etheral moments and sound good and real doing multiple styles on one LP, er, 2xLP, I guess.
Death of Kings - demo
Shit sounds good! Early Maiden stylee.
Wow, never even heard of that one.badcarburetor wrote:No, it's Nocturnal Karnage. Fucking killer shit.

It's a different flavor of the whole doom thing than what I normally really like, but I've played it a lot lately and finally starting to warm up to it.Ryan wrote:i have as well, crooked rivers is a crusher
