if Barren Earth is the band I'm thinking of, they're really cool. The EP has an Amorphis-like sound going on.
Rotten Sound fucking owned at the Carcass show. Ensiferum is always awesome.

Yeah it's the supergroup w/ members of Swallow the Sun, Kreator, Moonsorrow, and Amorphis.
Can't stand the singer's vocals though so I'm not a fan.

Crap, me too.
Can I just hang out on that side-road and listen to the show instead?
I'd say 80-90% chance I'd attend this show unless it conflicted with something. I've been playing a fair amount of Ensiferum on WREKage, too.
