Downloading video

There has been enough discussion about DLing obscure films on here recently that I thought maybe we could all share our preferred methods.

What I mean is, tell me how to do this.

I use soulseek for music on an XP machine. Works great, if not as fast as torrenting. I've just never had luck with that method.

I recently got a new Vaio laptop that running OS7. I loaded Vuze on it as that seems to be the most popular method of torrenting with people I know. Problem is Vuze crashes my machine constantly. I did a bit of research on Vuze and OS7 and my results were inconclusive. I even paid for the Vuze upgrade and no improvement.

So, suggestion?

I'm not looking for a lesson from anyone, just suggestions for what programs people have found to be compatible with OS7 and that are stocked with the kinds of films that would appeal to people on this forum.

I have Vista and dont know about OS7 but Utorrent works like a charm once its configured correctly.
