I wanted to see the new singer but I heard they were only getting a 45 minute set and they were playing almost the exact same stuff as the first Summer Slaughter so I skipped this.

I saw Decapitated with Hypocrisy, maybe 4 or 5 years ago. Anyone remember that one?

Vital remains killed it. Their sound was fairly muddy though. Animals as leaders was awesome, decrepit birth melted my face best live performence yet. Cephalic carnage was cool cause they played a lot of their grind stuff. I skipped all the shitty metalcore then the faceless came on and played a great set. Last but not least decapitated killled everything. They played a lot of the new album but also played winds of creation, mother war another one I can't remember and finished with spheres of madness. Smoked out with the animals as leaders guy and the vocalist of cephalic carnage. I must say everytime I go to the masquerade I hate that venue more and more. Too bad they have good bands come through often
