How is the metal scene in Atlanta?

Haha yeah most of my boyfriends academy mates were black. Yeah i got pulled over for a taglight out but he didnt search me or the car...he was black too. Well, i wasnt guilty of anything else. anyways, goodluck on finding christian bands. I had no idea those scenes existed. Do you listen to any dark or 'satanic' bands? Im not a satanist or christian but i prefer the darker shit. And most of those bands dont go around sacrificing goats or anything stupid like that...except for watain hahaha! Look them up...youll be in for a good laugh. They do make great black metal though. When are you moving here?

Atlanta metal rules.
The suburbs are your best bet for finding Christian bands. Sounds like you're going the metalcore route so yeah like already mentioned Douglasville and Fayette County. However most of those bands are made up of high schoolers.

Metalfreak, I like some of the music that some of the satanic bands play but i dont like the lyrics when they are anti-Christian or when there is cussing in the lyrics. I know about watain. I have the issue of Decibel where they are on the cover, or at least the singer.

I would plan on moving there in december of 2011.

Brian, what is the living environment in Douglasville and Fayette County like? Is it more city or country? Are they good places to live crime wise? I would like to live in a place that is not so big city but its real close to Atlanta.

GameFreac, I know all those bands. I got to see Antestor at the sonshine fest in 2000 along with Extol. Great show! I had forgotten that Becoming the Archetype were from Atlanta.

Douglasville and Fayetteville are better places to live. People are boring and stuck up though. There isnt a venue in Fayetteville, but they always have packed church shows. lol

Well, the metal scene in general in Atlanta is important to me because i needed to know if there is a scene for metal there at all. The fact that i am looking for Christain musicians who are into metal matters because those are the people that i most want to play in a band with.

As far as cussing in music Its something that God has called me to aviod.
