For everyone that has bought advance tickets to FORWARD TO THE APOCALYPSE FEST. In recent days there have been some slight changes we need to inform you of. First due to sluggish pre-sales we are forced to drop JIM ROSE CIRCUS SIDESHOW from the bill. This was a little extra entertainment that was thrown in as something extra to enjoy for people whom weren't into one band or another to kill time as it were.

But in order to pick up ticket sales we are lowering the price of advance ticket sales to $25.00 for a 3 day pass until September 1st and for a single day pass to $17.50
For those of you whom have bought a 3 day pass. You may either get a $10.00 refund at the gate the day of the fest. Or we will include the upcoming Resistant Culture show on the 20th of October.

For those of you whom bought a single day pass you have the option of either a refund of $2.50 at the gate on the day of the show. Or you may upgrade for an additional $5.00 to a three day pass.

Again thanks for your tremendous support as we go FORWARD TO THE APOCALYPSE.

In grind we crust,
Floyd Lionel

Out of curiosity, why is the 3 day pass only $7.50 more than a one day pass? Has it run through your mind that maybe people can't take off work, can't commit to 3 days, etc and that's why pre-sales are sluggish?

Also, I agree that this show will probably do pretty well in walk up sales. Nobody ever buys presale tickets unless it's Megadeth or something.

I personally usually always buy pre-sales because I like to have the ticket in my hand because I'm weird like that.

Most people aren't like that though. It seems like you're begging us for ticket sales and come off as annoying with your super long rants...it's probably not helping and putting people off.

People are either gonna go, or not gonna go. Don't give us a guilt trip.

Yes Brian, it has occurred to us that quite a few people will not be able to attend all three days. But some people can. And actually if you think about it right now if some one bought a 3 day pass and could only attend 2 shows that's a savings of $17.50+17.50=$35.00-$25= a savings of $10.00

Therefore some one coming all 3 days as a few people are they right now would save $17.50x3=$52.50-$25= a savings of $27.50 extra dough to get that wax 7" they want, a t-shirt, or just drink more beer.

"It's a deal, it's a steal you'd have to be dead not to squeal." Honest Joe from Honest Joe's Used Car Emporium (from the movie of the same book Chronicles Of A Douchebag in stores everywhere 2012 movie release slated for 2014 another shameless self-promotion)

Hope that satisfies your curiosity.

Broke? That would be a contradiction. Since it's $25 at the door per day. Or $11.6667 per day with a $35.00 3 day ticket. Which means your not broke. You actually have money to waste.
uh no, it means I'm broke right now but I may have some extra cash I saved up for the day of (like putting a dollar a day away or something).

like many have said, I'm not going to buy something if I'm not entirely too sure about it yet, especially with 'tentative' performances now. Also, I'm still debating on whether I should buy a 3 day or a one day...but if I don't know which bands are playing on what day, then I will definitely wait till the day of so I can know for sure.

you don't need to get all pissy with us because of poor ticket sales. Also like a few have said, most people don't buy something in advance unless it's Megadeth or someshit like MDF because everyone knows that shit sells out or at least comes pretty damn close to it. This probably isn't going to sell out (though I'm sure you want it to) so alot of us aren't going to scramble to buy advance tickets. Call it lazy or whatever, but we do what we want, people will show up so take it as it is. Thanks.
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

Thank you Metalfreak for your input and for you as well Game

Sorry my "rants" tend to get long. But usually they are long because I'm addressing many concerns or questions raised by many people and condensing them into one post. So while it may begin to answer your question I am trying my best to answer or address a lot of people's concerns. Instead of separate post.

if I sound pissy at times that tone is reserved specifically for the person going out of their way to be a "clown" with nonsense. I know it's something on this site everybody has to deal but it's no offense to anyone else who has legitimate concerns about their money and not just moaning to be moaning especially when they're not even coming.

lots of sick bands. would be there regardless of spewtilator playing for wormrot alone.

imo i think pre sales not going very well is a combination of a couple things:

a) unlike mdf, chaos, kollapse etc. there isn't a super huge, underground type band headlining the whole thing. phobia is sick, don't get me wrong, but they don't hold the same weight as some of the bands that headline each night at the other fests.

now obviously mdf, chaos, kollapse have been around longer and have built a bigger reputation making pre sales more of a solid thing and i think with another year (especially if this one goes well) ftta will have much better pre sales because the people that went will be talking it up and more people will be pumped on going. plus i think it will be easier to get even bigger bands to headline each night.

b) this is atlanta and the type of music ftta encompasses just isn't that big here. it sucks but it's true, the vast majority of atlanta concert goers are into indie hipster bullshit etc. I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope this goes well as I want to have an awesome fest here in atlanta that brings sick national and international bands cuz face it, we get skipped A LOT! So i would hope people would come out because they'd be dumb not to with so many sweet bands but also to support someone from our scene making the effort and putting their ass on the line to have a sweet underground metal/punk fest here instead of letting other cities have all the fun.

I'm likely not gonna go due to a combination of price and being a brokeass college student
