I wouldn't count him out. I have it on good authority that a bone marrow transplant is a very effective therapy. If you can survive the treatment.

Of course, there's no denying that his situation is serious.

Leukemia is treatable but the recovery is painful and trying, good luck to him!

As a late followup, Nergal HAS now found a compatible bone-marrow donor. It'll still be a long road with no guarantees, but it's definitely the best music news I've heard in the last week.
