Not a limerick nor a haiku....but poetry nonetheless.

There once was a thread about nothing
It was in need of constant bumping
It went into a rut
And started to suck
But with a little work it could be jumping

So I was in Europe but now I'm back.

I like the Haiku idea. But my ear still isn't all the way popped so I'm too lazy to try currently.

Wo to you oh earth and sea

What? Don't you like a bit of deconstructionism?

Somebody needs to pick a fight over here. I'd do it but I'm leaving for the airport in a minute.

Let's leave that for the toilet.

Things are slow around here, so I'll throw out a topic for discussion:

Bands "everyone" else loves but you hate.

Off the top of my head, for me it's Nile and Opeth. I fail to see the appeal. It's just overserious silliness to me, too busy, no hooks, nothing to bring me in.

You?

Possessed is one i've never been able to get into. Also Burzum and Mayhem... i just don't get the appeal. Nile, Opeth, and all "symphonic" metal as well. Emperor also doesn't float my boat. Watain up until the new record.

Judging by my spin class, the Subway near my job, and I_LOVE_ZUCKERPENIS, I am the only person in the world that hates Train. I heard that "Soul Sister" bullshit three times in one day last week. It fucking sucks ass. God damn that is some treacly garbage.

Behold, if you dare:

<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/kVpv8-5XWOI?fs ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/kVpv8-5XWOI?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

Also, no one told me Richard Grieco and Howie Mandel started a band. Or that Howie Mandel can play two guitars at once. That's kind of radical. Regardless, fuck Train in the neckhole.

Good day.

As much as I loathe mandals - and I loathe them deeply - I equally love pit bulls so I clicked that video. Wish I'd never done that. I usually do a commendable job of avoiding mainstream music - seriously, there are so many huge bands I've never knowingly heard a note from - but I think I've heard that Train song. Is it on a commercial for banking or something? I'd also never even heard of that band until the other night at practice when a couple folks were talking about Drops of Jupiter in an Ear or some shit. So, yeah, thanks for letting me know that I play music with people who don't find that band totally repulsive.
