No way. Really? No. Can't be...

Anyone heard rumors of this show -

Slayer, SOIA, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Youth of Today, Chain of Strength, Turning Point at Madison Square Garden 4/11/11?

I've also seen a date of 4/1/11.

Can't be true. Can it?

The April Fool's Day date should give away the unlikeliness of this interesting but highly unusual lineup.

Very good point. I didn't think of that as I was concentrating on the 4-11 date. Seems like an odd time of year to make an April Fool's joke, but it works all the better for it. I got it from a pretty reliable source. Joke's on both of us, I suppose.

The only thing that made me think that it was not entirely unbelievable is that some very odd things seem to be happening to put asses in seats nowadays.

Slayer/Metallica/Maiden and SOIA/Youth of Today/Chain of Strength are not entirely unrealistic as seperate shows these days, but going out on a limb, those bands will never all share a stage in U.S.

Or the fact that Youth of Today and Chain of Strength havent played in like 20 years. (not counting stupid reunions)

I could actually see a show this diverse happening in NYC, but probably nowhere else in the US. If something like that were to happen that it would definitely include stupid reunions.

If it's real they need to put Venom on the bill.
